Enjoy this easy Beef Chili with Beans recipe anytime. Particularly good for lunch on a cold day. Serve with cornbread or saltine crackers.

1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
1 tbsp oil
3 lbs. TCR gound beef (buy here.)
3-4 tbsp chili seasoning (you can buy prepackaged or make your own, recipe here.)
1 tbsp salt
1/2 tbsp ground pepper
1 15 oz can fire roasted, diced tomatoes, undrained
1 cup beef broth ( canned or make your own, recipe here.)
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 15 oz cans red kidney beans, drained and rinsed
1 15 oz can black beans, drained and rinsed
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp italian seaoning
Heat oil in an 8 qt stockpot or pan. Over medium heat, cook onion until translucent. Add garlic and cook for about a minute, until fragrant. Add ground meat and cook until browned and cooked through. Add chili seasoning and cook for 2-3 minutes until fragrant. Add salt and pepper and stir thoroughly.
Add diced tomatoes, including liquid, the beef broth and the Worcestershire sauce. Stir together. Add all the beans, bay leaf, and italian seasoning. Stir to combine. Let cook for 30 minutes on medium heat, stirring often. Remove bay leaf before eating.
You can also simmer at low after adding all ingredients for an hour or two. This stays on low heat really well. Also, good the next day.
